Ezine advertising is a great way to put your product, website or offer in front of a highly targeted opt-in audience. But if your online business is new, or your website is not yet making a profit, the prices for running advertisements in popular ezines might be a deterrant.
How to get FREE exposure in popular ezines:
Write tips, articles or reviews specifically geared towards the ezines readership, and submit them to the ezine owner and/or editor. As the author (or contributor) readers will take notice of your byline more so than they would an advertisement, as people are accustomed to reading over ads to get to the content. Not only will you get click-through’s to your website in exchange for your contribution, but you will also gain exposure as an expert or authority on the subject.

Will you earn more money selling a ‘Special Report’? Or will you earn more money giving a Special Report away freely and building a very large mailing list of people who are specifically interested in your topic… that you can market your higher-ticket products/services to on a long term basis?
Don’t underestimate the value of building a relationship with prospects, and being able to tap into a highly targeted audience that has proven their interest by taking action on your site.
Make it a point to strategically organize your information and your offers so that you are able to funnel your visitors directly into your mailing list, and then to the areas of your website that generate revenue.

Even if you just have ONE newsletter or mailing list, you can probably relate to the pressure of staying in touch with that list and keeping things rolling. But what if you have multiple websites… or even hundreds?
One of two things usually happens: You collect lots of email addresses, but rarely send an email out. OR you neglect to put a sign-up form on your website at all (knowing in advance you’ll never get around to sending an email)… and miss out on TONS of repeat traffic and sales.
Lisa Preston created a product that makes it super easy to get it all on track, no matter how many (or how few) websites you have. It’s called Instant Niche Emails. Check it out. At the very least, grab her free report - It’ll give you some GREAT ideas for your Email Marketing strategy!
