Get Paid for Blogging! You’ve been writing about Web sites, products, services and companies you love for years and you have yet to benefit from all the sales and traffic you have helped generate. That’s about to change. With PayPerPostâ„¢ advertisers are willing to pay you to post on topics. Search through a list of topics, make a blog posting, get your content approved, and get paid. It’s that simple.
During the signup phase there is a field for the email address of the referrer (that’s me). Make sure that you use my email address (email@example.com) in that field when you sign up - that way we can both make a few bucks!

For each blog that you set up on Wordpress, you should also set up an associated account at Blogger.com. Why? Because when you are networking with other bloggers and leaving comments on their posts, you will undoubtedly run across many related blogs that are hosted on Blogger.
Instead of skipping that blog altogether (tempting), or using an unrelated blogger account that is attached to an old blog or unrelated niche, set up a Blogger account for yourself just for this purpose.
Use a related username and create an introductory post that tells who you are, where you blog (link to your wordpress blog) and what your objective is (or a compelling description of your blog and its purpose).
Since you will be using Social Networking to grow your own blog, this is a great way to send people from blogger to your “real blog”

Money for Content, and Your Clicks for Free
J.D. offers an engaging writing style with a fresh perspective, discussing what it takes to step into the ‘creative class’ and monetize your talent (ie your content) on the web. It isnt your typical manual or guide, and certainly isnt “the latest get-rich-with-Adsense book”.
Money for Content, and Your Clicks for Free discusses working with various ad networks, conducting surveys, putting together a Media Kit… and much more. It also goes into detail about building communities, considering membership (the good and the bad), branding and even merchandising. It is chock full of good information and ideas to consider.
This is definitely one of those books that belongs on every Blogger’s bookshelf!

If you want to write the post yourself, you can. We reserve the right to approve the blog posting, but we are also appreciative of the effort and staying true to your blog.”

What is a Chicklet? It’s the cute little buttons that give you the option to subscribe to feeds through various aggregators. Here are some examples:
FeedBurner’s Headline Animator is more popular in forum signatures and on static web pages. It is an animated GIF that rotates your five most recent headlines, or blog posts. You’ve probably seen these all over the place, too:
Using that Headline Animator in my own forum signatures has brought A LOT of traffic to my blog. If people like what you have to say, they generally like to hear more - so why not give them your latest?
